Stayed for one night lately . Staff very nice , food excellant .Room very comfortable and clean (a bit too stuffy really) .My room was on 2nd floor (a lot of stairs) no lift . Very noisy outside window (i think from kitchen fan) .I didnt sleep till after 4am listening to a noisy car driving around streets. Guests in another room in and out of room banging doors and lights coming on on corridor shining in my room.

We had the best stay what a pity it was only for one night. Thanks to the manager who was so helpful and friendly and to all the staff in reception who couldnt do enough for us. The food which was included in our deal was by far the best meal we have had in a restaurant for a while.Rooms were basic but clean did the job as we wanted to go shopping so location was fantastic. We will be back and the grand is where we will be staying. Thanks to everyone in the gran hotel for a great time.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The rooms are top notch and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Also the entertainment on Friday and Saturday was very good. Overall it was a great weekend and would definitely return again in the future.

Beautiful hotel. Very helpful staff, lovely bar. Restaurant food was amazing. Bar was packed with people eating which was a good sign. Will be booking here again next time I'm in Tralee

The hotel is like a a maze and it has no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up a couple of flights of stairs. The rooms are quite small and old fashioned however the bathroom was modern and clean but could have done with a bath. Breakfast was lovely but staff were not very friendly. All in all we got what we paid for, Cheap and cheerful.

Super hotel in the center of town. We booked dinner bed and breakfast at a good value price. The style is in keeping with the building, very well done and clean. The resaurant was very nice. The service and food super. The bar was busy each time we were in, the service was good. The food perfect. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. The room well done and clean. All in all top end of a three star hotel focusing on what a hotel should do best. John & Maureen.

I am writing this review on behalf of Martin Gordon and his his daughter who stayed at The Grand when they came over from the UK for a family funeral. They wanted me to send a review in for them as they were so impressed with the hotel and all its staff. Their room was very comfortable and warm and cozy which was just what they needed to escape to after the trauma of the day. All the staff were kind and respectful of their bereavement and were very helpful too. We had meals with them and they were excellent, you couldn't fault them. Martin and Noreen have already booked to stay again so that says it all really.

The hotel is a bit of a maze and it has no lift so be prepared to drag your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs. The rooms are small and old fashioned however the bathroom was modern and clean. The pub and restaurant were really nice and welcoming – they had some live Irish music which was great fun. The Grand Hotel is perfect if you want accommodation in the centre of town, however if you’re looking for luxury or to be pampered I wouldn’t recommend it! Breakfast was also quite nice.
