Hotel was lovely food was amazing with both our evening meals and breakie and parking straight across the road. Unfortunately the shower wasnt working when we went to use it

What a great holiday in Waterford. Dooley's is in a great location near all the shopping, restaurants and cinema. There is no pool but the sea is near with great beaches. Parking was easily accessed directly across the street. The room was spacious with a King size bed and single. Walk-in shower was great. We ate in the restaurant most evenings and the food and service was good. Breakfast was nice too. Omniplex cinema had all electric recliners. I believe the Indian restaurant next door is supposed to be really good. There is a Centra very near too useful for 99s and drinking water. Staff in hotel are very pleasant. Would stay again.

Lovely stay at this hotel for night away with my partner our little break away from the kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely couldnt find fault with it the only issue we experienced was the lady in the next room on a phonecall at 3am shouting and laughing down the phone. Other than that enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the city life of Waterford

Dooleys is a lovely hotel Staff were very friendly and accomadating especially in the restaurant they were so pleasant and cheerful really they couldn't do enough for us... Rooms were clean and spacious with crisp white towels in the bathroom I will definitely be returning to dooleys in the near future

Really nice Hotel, friendly staff. Front first floor room, view of the river. Very little or no noise of the road. Late for breakfast one morning, no issues from staff. The only issue I have is there no car parking provided by the Hotel. You have to use the Port car park across the street no option, which isn't cheep, €8 per day.

Very friendly staff. Nice spacious room. Hotel took a lot of covid19 precautions and we felt safe. Meal options could have been a bit better but overall we were happy. Greay location for greenway cycle. Would return to this hotel.

We booked this hotel on Lidl Breaks for less than half the price as advertised on the family room was spacious, beds were comfortable, even the pullout bed was too notch. Staff were so friendly and polite, they were quite busy during our stay but they had time for anything we asked. Room, bathroom, halls, bar area that we visited was spotless clean, I have not seen a 5 * hotel as clean as this one. Food was too notch, I recommend the Cajun chicken burger and sweet potato fries. The only thing I could find improvement on is the heat in the room. It was roasting and the window only opened a little bit for safety reasons. We ended up buying a small fan and the kids slept brilliantly that night. Location is perfect, close to everything, highly recommend, and I will most definitely be back in Dooley's again.

180 km drive down to hotel, when we arrived at 5 pm, we discovered that they did not have a room for us, we had a small child with us, we were tired after our journey. They eventually sent us to Treacys hotel up the street, the receptionist at Dooley's wasn't too bothered. We had booked Dooley`s because we thought it would be a better class hotel- Treacy`s would not be in the same class. In short - a total disaster. We should be refunded in full.

Lovely warm inviting hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful which gives that extra touch that you get from a family run hotel that you can't get elsewhere. The food was absolutely delicious and buffet breakfast had everything and more.

Tim scored 5 / 5 on 09/03/2016

We booked this hotel through today fm breaks for €103 bed and breakfast with two course dinner. We arrived about 6.30 it was horrible weather. The warmth the minute we walked in the door was so lovely . The receptionist was very nice and efficient gave us our room keys immediately . The halls and corridors were freshly painted and beautifully clean and warm. The room bathroom was very warm . We went down for dinner without dinner voucher which entitled us to two courses . The waiter said we could have 3 courses from the early bird menu. We are both vegetarian and we really enjoyed what we got. The barman was very friendly and all I can say is we will definitely be back here the breakfast was equally good . Tim and bridget Thompson co Clare

Lovely Hotel in a very central location. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Very nice food served in the bar and for breakfast. Lovely music in the bar the Sunday night of the bank holiday week-end. Parking across the road at a reduced rate of €3 per day! Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return again soon.

myself and 6 friends stayed in Dooley's on Saturday 26/04 it was just an overnight stay. The hotel is in a very central location, the staff were friendly and very helpful the hotel was very busy but still all the staff had time to see to any request that was made. We had food in the Bar which was very tasty and served quickly and the waitresses were pleasant and friendly and took care of our every need. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the beds were very comfy. All in all we had a very nice time and would certainly return to the hotel I would give the hotel a very good 3 star and that was the general consensus of all our group

Steph scored 3 / 5 on 18/12/2013

It was a nice hotel, but the wifi didnt work and we were on the 3rd floorans there was no safety catches on the windows they opened straight out, as I had a 4 year old child with me I was nervous about that, over all it was nice and the staff were helpful & friendly

Bernie scored 3 / 5 on 31/10/2013

My husband and myself stayed here for Saturday and Sunday night of the October bank holiday, the room was excellent and very clean but the heat was not turned on until very late in the evening and only for a short period so we were cold most of the time we were in the room. We did enjoy the breakfast and the staff were so efficent and friendly also the welcome at reception was second to none. We bought dinner there on the Saturday night and it was most disappointing to say the least, the potatoes were reheated and were tastless and inedible. We would stay there again but steer clear of dinner.

Very pleasant stay at Dooleys. Comfortable hotel with good food. Good sized family room, nicely decorated and furnished. Pity it doesn't have BBC or ITV tv channels. Recommended as a good 3 star hotel, in a good location.

Stayed here over the May bank holiday. We all found the staff to be very friendly, we were greeted with smiles on arrival. We booked a family room which I found very agreeable. The The New Ship Restaurant was a bonus to the hotel, the food was gorgeous and there was a great choice from the children's menu. I would recommend anybody to stay in this hotel

Kit scored 5 / 5 on 09/04/2012

We really enjoyed our stay at this friendly hotel. From the moment we checked in, ALL staff we met had a smile. Our room was lovely and clean, restaurant staff were so efficient. Dinner and breakfasts were superb, with the result we only ate at Dooleys for the meals which were not included in the package. Will definitely return FIVE STAR
